Kos Churches
There are numerous churches spread throughout Kos Island. Most are small and look something like this Church below on Mt. Zini (near Kefalos), with fantastic views of Kefalos Bay
 The Church of Saint John the Baptist
(Epta Bemata), pictured
below is still in use at the Cemetery at Kos Town and it is said to contain
frescoes dating back to the 12th and 13th century.
It was originally an early christian baptistery of the 5th - 6th century

The Church below is in Ruins but again the Views of Kefalos Bay are fantastic. It is located west of Kefalos 
Another interesting Church (pictured below)is located in Old Pyli (Paleo Pyli) where you can wander around the abandoned town
